Dochnahl Construction built this timber and piling retaining wall at the top of a hill side in West Seattle.  There had been few small surface land slides over the past couple winters so we helped design and built this wall to save their back yard.  The wall is approx. 12′ tall, 80′ long and is supported with 3″ diameter pipe pilings and 2 rows of tieback anchors.
